Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a superconductor from being damaged, by connecting the superconductor which is bonded to an electrically insulated reinforcing member with adhesives and is reinforced, to a space between a first and a second conduction terminals. CONSTITUTION:As a current-limiting device, the lower ends of a first and a second conduction terminals 4A, 4B are bent in the shapes of L, and at the lower ends, a superconductor 3 reinforced with a reinforcing member 9 is screwed. The superconductor 3 is, for example, made of superconducting material in Y-Ba-Cu-O system, and the reinforcing member 9 is electrically insulated, and both ones are bonded to each other with adhesive. Then, the superconductor 3 is reinforced with the reinforcing member 9, and so the superconductor can be prevented from being damaged while it is assembled.
