Abstract
PURPOSE:To enhance the allowance degree of ground fault protection coordination, by combining frequency detecting relays with each other, and by detecting low-frequency attenuating oscillation at the time of ground fault accident recovery, in both the positive and negative waves of zero-phase voltage, to lock the ground-directional relay of a sound circuit. CONSTITUTION:A ground fault protective-relay system is provided with a ground overvoltage relay 1 to which the input of zero-phase voltage V0 is provided, a ground fault directional relay 2 for preventing malfunction from being generated, and a frequency detecting relay 3 for detecting the fundamental frequency of the zero-phase voltage, and the input of their output and inversion output to an AND circuit 4 is provided, and from the output terminal of the AND circuit 4, the final working output of the ground fault directional relay 2 is obtained. Besides, with the frequency detecting relay 3, the sampling of the fundamental wave of the zero-phase voltage V0 is executed by every 30 deg., and the positive wave and the negative wave of the data are discriminated. In this case, when the fundamental frequency comes to a constant value or less and low-frequency attenuating oscillation is detected, then the output of relay locking command is generated, and the ground fault directional relay of a sound circuit is locked, and the malfunction is prevented from being generated.
