CONSTITUTION:For a spinning frame stopped for a long time due to its periodical repairing or the like, a reverse running means 10 is operated to stop a running device 3 to approach the spinning frame 1a, 1b...1n and subsequently allow the running device 3 to reversely run. For a spinning frame stopped for a short time due to its doffing operation or the like, a means 30 for temporarily stopping the running device is operated to allow the running device to stop and wait. Thereby, the loss time of a cleaning cycle accompanied with the stopping of the temporarily stopped spinning frame and other spinning frames following the frame can be minimized.
