Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title PP useful for a plastic film, a printing ink for synthetic resin moldings, an adhesive composition or the like, by reacting an OH group-containing chlorinated PP of a specified MW with a free NCO group- containing polyurethane. CONSTITUTION:A diol component (a) (e.g., 1,4-butanediol) is reacted with an excess amount of a diisocyanate component (b) (e.g., isophorone diisocyanate) and, optionally, a chain extender and a reaction stopper (c) to obtain a polyurethane (B) of an MW of 600-200,000, containing at least one free NCO group in the molecule. A chlorinated PP (A) having at least one OH group in the molecule, obtained from a chlorinated PP, an OH group-containing vinyl monomer and/or an OH group-containing olefin compound and having an MW of 5,000-500,000, preferably, 7,000-300,000 and a degree of chlorination of 20-60% is reacted with component B at a weight ratio (A/B) of 5-75/95-25.
