Abstract

PURPOSE:To identify the kinds of batteries at a glance and place price tags thereon without taking the batteries out of the case, by composing a battery package of rectan gular paper containers for accommodating a plurality of batteries and an outer paper case for arranging the rectangular paper containers therein in not less than two rows. CONSTITUTION:Two batteries 6 are packaged 7 and two lidless rectangular paper containers 8, each of which accommodates the five packages 7 laterally juxtaposed in a row, are arranged in two rows parallel to each other and enclosed by an outer case 9. The blanking of the outer case 9 consists of a rectangular bottom side 13 as a base, lateral sides 16 extending from both ends of the bottom side beyond a fold 14 and having at its end a folding flap 15, rear side 17 extending lengthwise from the bottom side beyond a fold 14, an upper side 18 extending from the rear side 17 beyond a fold 14, a front side 19 extending from the upper side 18 beyond a fold 14 and a case securing portion 22 extending from the central front edge of the bottom side 13 beyond a fold 14 and having at its end a flap 21 to be inserted in a window portion 20 provided on the border between the upper and front sides. All the sides are folded inwards along the folds and the flap 21 is inserted in the bending window portion 20, thereby forming the outer case.
