Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize an easy fabrication method of a stable superconductive coil which does not produce any deterioration in characteristics due to thermal distortion and reaction between the substrate and superconductor by printing, applying, and calcining a powder paste of superconductive ceramics with a composition of LnM2Cu3O7-k on ceramic substrate with a composition of Dy2 MCuO5 to form coil. CONSTITUTION:Thick filmlike coils 2 and 21 are formed by preparing paste using a superconductive ceramic material whose critical temperature transiting to superconduction is higher than the boiling point of liquid nitrogen and by printing, applying, and calcining the above paste on ceramic substrates 1 and 11. When producing superconductive superconductive ceramic coil in this manner, the coils 2 and 21 are formed by printing, applying, and calcining powder paste of superconductive ceramic with a composition of LnM2Cu3O7-k on the ceramic substrates 1 and 11 with a composition of Dy2MCuO5. However, Ln should he at least one of rare earth elements La, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy, Ho, Br, Tm, Yb, Lu, and Y; M should be at least one of Ba, Sr, and Ca; k should be larger than 0 and smaller than 1.
