Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a case of an apparatus small-sized by making a first connector, which is located on one of two printed substrates mounted on both sides, and a second connector, which is located on the other of them, connected electrically to male contacts pressed/fixed on a mother board. CONSTITUTION:Printed substrates 3 are mounted on both sides of a mother board 1. Housings 2a, 2b are assembled on both surfaces of the mother board. The housings 2a and 2b on the one surface are made to engage with a first connector 4a and a second one 4b, respectively. The housings 2a and 2b on the other surface are made to engage with the second connector 4b and the first one 4a, respectively. Male contacts are pressed/fixed into holes on a bottom of each housing. The male contacts of the housings on both surfaces are electrically connected to female contacts of their corresponding connectors. Since the printed substrates are mounted on both the sides, an electronic apparatus can be made small in its height.
