Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A material whose average particle diameter represents of a value of 8-14mum is used as the coloring powder in a developer housed in a device. Namely, since the coloring powder remaining on an image carrier can be attracted and eliminated electrically by a developing means simultaneously with developing, no independent cleaning means or collection box is required, and the miniaturization, light weight, and low cost of the device can be attained, and also, no fouling is generated, and furthermore, since a cleaning blade is not abutted with the image carrier, with service life of the image carrier can be extended. Also, by using the material whose average particle diameter is specified is used as the coloring powder in the developer housed in the developing means, the mobility of remaining transfer toner can be improved, and its cleaning property can be improved.
