Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the workability of temporary work by providing an auxiliary lay down area where nuclear reactor apparatus are temporarily placed. CONSTITUTION:An operation floor 11 is formed at the uppermost story of a nuclear reactor building 10 and a reactor well 12 is opened in approximately the central part of the floor 11. A spent fuel storage pool 13 and an apparatus temporary placing pool 14 are disposed before and behind the well 12. The floor surface of the operation floor 1 on both the right and left sides of these pools 13, 14 is set as the apparatus lay down area 15 where the reactor appara tus are temporarily placed. An apparatus carrying in/out port 16 is opened to the floor surface of the operation floor 11 in the area 15. A floor 17 for stacking and temporary placing of the reactor apparatus and the auxiliary lay down area 18 are segmented under the operation floor 11. After the reactor apparatus are temporarily placed in the area 18, the in/out port 16 is closed by a grating, etc., and the reactor apparatus are temporarily placed on the grating as the area 15. The workability in the temporary placement work of the reactor apparatus is improved by providing the area 18 in such a manner.
