Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the amount of use of a fuel by providing heat exchangers on the upstream and downstream sides of a wet type dust removal apparatus, and connecting both heat exchangers through piping. CONSTITUTION: There are disposed a heat exchanger 5 on the upstream side of a wet type dust removal apparatus 3 and a heat exchanger 7 on the downstream side. A heating medium fed to the heat exchanger 5 becomes high temperature owing to heat exchange with blast furnace gas while becoming low temperature by providing heat to blast furnace gas in the heat exchanger 6. The medium circulates between the two heat exchangers 5, 6 for delivery of heat with the blast furnace gas. Thus, the blast furnace gas is supplied to a recovery turbine 4 at higher temperature than gas temperature in a conventional wet type dust removal apparatus. Hereby, blast furnace gas temperature of blast furnace top pressure recovery turbine inlet and combustion blast furnace gas temperature for example are increased, and hence an increase of a gas turbine output and reduction of the amount of use of a fuel are realized while utilizing conventional wet type dust removal.
