対速度算出手段から出力される相対速度信号と前
記速度信号とから警報音を出力すべき距離を算出
する警報音出力距離算出手段と、この警報音出力
距離算出手段から出力される距離信号と前記距離
検出手段から出力される距離信号とにより両者を
比較して後者の距離が前者の距離より短かいとき
警報音を出力する警報音出力手段とを有する車両
用障害物検知装置において、前記警報音出力手段
から出力される警報音をその鳴り始めから所定時
間低く設定しその後通常の警報音に設定する警報
音制御手段を設けたことを特徴とする車両用障害
