Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by providing a directional control valve adapted to communicate a supply oil path with a pressure discharge path when the supply oil pressure is less than a designated value in an oil path between a pressure regulating valve for controlling oil pressure supplied to a friction element and the friction element. CONSTITUTION:3-4 PCV 50 is constructed so that when output oil pressure is controlled by pilot pressure controlled by the second duty solenoid 46 to shift 3-4 clutch 27 from the second speed to the third speed in the open state, oil pressure is gradually increased and passed through a directional control valve 220 to be sent to the 3-4 clutch 27, whereby the clutch is connected without a speed change shock.
