Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable far infrared rays to be emitted when predetermined heat is applied, by providing a far infrared ray-emitting layer for emitting far infrared rays, on a part or the entire surface of a releasable base film. CONSTITUTION:A release layer provided for a base film 1 of an ordinary transfer material is provided by an ordinary printing method by using a thermoplastic resin, a natural rubber, a synthetic rubber or the like. A far infrared ray- emitting layer 2, which is a layer formed from an ink comprising a far infrared ray-emitting substance kneaded in a binder, is provided by printing on a releasable surface of the base film 1. A far infrared ray reflection layer 3 is provided by using a material comprising a white pigment with a high reflectivity of far infrared rays dispersed in a binder similar to the binder used for the layer 2. For enhancing the properties for transfer or adhesion to a transfer recording material, an adhesive layer 4 may be provided. When this far infrared transfer material is transferred to, for example, a clothing at a position on an effective spot of human body, the layer 2 emits far infrared rays under the effect of the body heat, whereby the body is efficiently warmed to its deep part. Numeral 5 denotes a pattern layer which does not emit far infrared rays.
