Abstract

PURPOSE:To not only shield against an electric field and a flat surface plate but also effectively shield against a magnetic field by employing a superconductor as a conductor attached to fiber. CONSTITUTION:Powder particlelike superconductor S is attached to the surface of glass fiber 1 to form one glass fiber material. Many materials 1 are gathered to form in a cloth state, thereby forming an electromagnetic wave shielding material 2, and a pair of glass plates 3, 3, a pair of achromatic transparent intermediate films 4, 4 formed in the same shape and size as those of the plates 3, 3, and the material 2 formed substantially the same size as those of the plates 3, 3 are integrally laminated. The plates 3, 3 are engaged and held in an annular frame 7 to be attached to the opening of a body 5. Thus, the material 2 is so formed as to prevent the electromagnetic wave from externally leaking through the plates 3, 3 or from externally entering.
