Abstract

PURPOSE:To permit the automatic feed of a loaded paper by the mechanical treatment by constituting a reversing device from a paper receiving plate installed at a feeding position, driving roller for sending out the paper on the receiving plate, and a transfer passage for sending out the paper in the turned- back state along the nearly half circumferential region of a drum arranged on the paper feeding-out side. CONSTITUTION:Sensors 32 and 32 detect that a paper sheet sent toward a receiving plate 25 by a transfer conveyor 12 contacts a contact edge 24 and is registered to a normal position on the receiving plate 25. Then, a solenoid 28 is operated to allow pinch rollers 30 and 30 to contact the paper surface, and the paper nipped between a roller 27 and the pinch rollers 30 and 30 is fed into between a reversing drum 33 and a nipping belt 34. The reversing drum 33 and the nipping belt 34 nip the paper therebetween and send said paper in the turned back state along the half peripheral region of the drum 33.
