Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the noise absorption efficiency of a sound wave absorbing agent of a glass delay line by mixing metallic powder and a resin whose heat resistance temperature is 70 deg.C or over so that the specific gravity of the mixture between the both is nearly equal to the specific gravity of glass. CONSTITUTION:The specific gravity of a cured sound wave absorbing agent is selected nearly equal to the specific gravity of the glass, and an epoxy resin is used to attain the heat resistance temperature of 70 deg.C or over, and lead powder is used as the metallic powder and the lend powder is mixed by 60-95% of the entire gravity of the sound wave absorbing agent. In using the sound wave absorbing agent, since the specific gravity is nearly equal to the specific gravity of glass, the acoustic impedance is made equal, the sound wave is transmitted easily and the S/N is improved.
