Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent contamination by a cleaning liquid by striking a spherical carrier against the inside wall of a vessel and dislodging the carrier while maintaining a negative pressure in a suction nozzle at the time of dropping the spherical carrier attracted to the tip of the suction nozzle into another vessel. CONSTITUTION:A bead 6 which co-exists with the cleaning liquid is first taken out while the bead is held attracted to the suction nozzle 2. The bead 6 which is held attracted to the nozzle 2 is then moved to above another vessel 5 and is inserted to the position where the spherical center 6a of the bead 6 enters the inside of the vessel 5 from the top end 5a thereof and the tip 2a of the nozzle 2 does not come into contact with the top end 5a of the vessel 5. The bead 6 is pressed to the top end of the inside wall of the vessel 5 and the suction nozzle is moved, by which the bead 6 is dislodged from the tip of the nozzle 2 and is housed into the vessel. The dropping of the cleaning liquid remaining in the nozzle 2 into the vessel 5 is prevented by maintaining the negative pressure state in the nozzle 2 even if said liquid remains in the nozzle at this time.
