Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide the title mixture having an excellent heat recovery efficiency, by mixing ethane with dichlorotrifluoroethane. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. working fluid mixture comprising 1-65mol.% ethane and 99-35mol.% dichlorotrifluoroethane (e.g., 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane) is admixed with about 1pt.wt. stabilizer (e.g., dimethyl phosphite) if necessary. The resulting working fluid mixture is compressed with a compressor 1 and then fed into a condenser 2, wherein the mixture is cooled with a load fluid fed thereinto through a pipe 3 to be condensed while at the same time heating the load fluid. The heated load fluid is passed through a pipe 3' to be supplied for load heating. Meanwhile and working fluid mixture is reduced in pressure with a pressure reducing unit 4 and then fed into an evaporator 5, wherein the mixture is heated with a heat source fluid fed thereinto from a pipe 6 and discharged therefrom through a pipe 6'. The heated working fluid mixture is circulated into the compressor 1.
