Abstract
PURPOSE:To continuously carry out membrane separation by separating the permeated liq. discharge means of each filter plate into plural discharge paths, connecting the paths, connecting a washing liq. supply means to each path, and backwashing one filter plate while carrying out membrane separation by other filter plates. CONSTITUTION:The filter plates 7a and 7b covered with a filter membrane M are alternately laminated, the permeated liq. path 15 of the filter plate 7a is connected to a first permeated liq. path 13', the permeated liq. path 15 of the filter plate 7b is connected to a second permeated liq. path 14', and two discharge paths re formed. When one filter plate 7a is backwashed, a three-way valve V1 is operated to stop the flow of the permeated liq. (b) and opened to the washing liq. supply means, and a backwashing liq. (c) from a washing liq. tank 25 is introduced in the opposite direction to the flow of the permeated liq. to backwash the filter membrane M.
