Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently fractionate the specified high-purity component on an industrial scale from a raw gas with the use of a supercritical gas and a resin by making efficient use of the merit of supercritical gas extraction. CONSTITUTION:The gaseous carbon dioxide supplied from a cylinder 11 is liquefied, compressed, and cooled by a liquefier 1, a high-pressure pump 2, and a heat exchanger 3 to obtain the supercritical gaseous carbon dioxide at specified pressure and temp. which is introduced into an extraction vessel 4, and the component to be dissolved in the supercritical gaseous carbon dioxide in the raw material such as a fish-oil fatty acid is extracted. The supercritical gaseous carbon dioxide is slightly depressurized by a pressure keeping valve 12 to the pressure at which the fatty acid having a higher mol.wt. is mostly separated, and introduced into a first-step separation vessel 5 to separate the greater part of the batty acid having a higher mol.wt. The supercritical gaseous carbon dioxide contg. another component is depressurized to lower than a critical pressure by a pressure keeping valve 13, and introduced into a second-stage separation vessel 6 to separate gaseous carbon dioxide and the extract. The separated liq. in the first-stage separation vessel 5 and the separated liq. in the second-stage separation vessel 6 are then circulated to a resin column 7.
