従来の技術

は固体薬剤を混合した固形材料を加熱板上で加熱
して薬剤を昇華させるものが普通であるが、これ
ら装置は相当量の熱源を必要とするため装置とし
ては小型のものに限られ、やや大量の駆除にはく
ん蒸型のものや直接殺虫ガスを封入したエアゾー
ル型のものが用いられ取扱上、危険を伴なうおそ

を同時に行え、かつバーミユキユライトの表面を
利用して蒸発面積を大幅に増加、つまりガス発生
量を増加できるわけであるが、この場合、上記薬
剤担体に吹きつけるべき熱風は、相当の風量を有
するとともに予め十分かつ均等に加熱されている
ことが必要である。しかし、このような熱風を発
生する装置を設けることは構造的に不経済である
から、実際には薬剤担体を適度の熱源で加熱して
気化させ、この発生ガスを空気と共に送風機で吸
引して空中に吹き出させる構造とする以外にな
く、このことは熱源で加熱された空気を大量の吸
引空気で囲んで吹きつけるため熱風全体の温度と
してはさほど上らず、しかも薬剤担体には加熱空
気が接する部分以外に、常温の吸引空気に吹きつ
けられ反つて冷却される部分が生じ、したがつて
