Abstract
PURPOSE:To efficiently conduct the installation job for stacking a plurality of fuel cells and the replacement job of a damaged cell by forming a tank in which the fuel cell is accommodated in sealed structure, and installing the joints of various kinds of pipelines and connecting wires in the outside of the tank. CONSTITUTION:A unit cell is sealed in a tank comprising a cylindrical tank 13, a cell unit mounting plate 11, and a blind plate 14, and transported to an installation site. A plurality of tanks are stacked on a lower reinforcing plate 21, each tank is connected with bolts 19, an upper reinforcing plate 22 is mounted on the blind plate 14, and connecting pipes 15 of each tank are connected to common connecting pipes 15b installed in the outside of the tank, then each tank is connected with an equalizer valve 17 and an equalizer line 18. Since each tank is transported and installed in sealed state, the mixing of foreign matter and moisture absorption are prevented. Even if a fuel cell is damaged, a unit cell is easily replaced.
