Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify structure and reduce cost by constituting such that a movable valve such as bellows for defining a liquid chamber and an air chamber with their volumes variable is provided in a pump body and reciprocally driving said movable valve with an air-driven reciprocating mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Forming a pump chamber 4 consisting of an outer liquid chamber 2 and an inner air chamber 3 at two positions on a pump body 1, said chambers 2 and 3 are defined with a bellows 5 so that their volumes are variable. The lower part of each liquid chamber 2 is connected via a suction passage 6 to a tank port 7 while the upper part of each liquid chamber 2 is connected via a discharge passage 10 to a pump port 11. Each bellows 5 is provided with a piston rod 14 which is connected to a piston 16 of a reciprocating air cylinder 15. Controlling the supply and discharge of air to and from the reciprocating air cylinder 15 with a flow rate/direction control valve 25 to reciprocate the cylinder 15 and to extend or retract the bellows 5, liquid drawn into the liquid chamber 2 is pressurized and delivered.
