Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an item, the adhesion between a surfacing material and a base material of which is good and has no air pocket, by a method wherein the surfacing material, which is produced by integrating non-porous thermoplastic resin film and non-woven fabric, and the base material which is made into an integral body by impregnating reinforcing fibers with thermoplastic resin, are formed into an integral body by stamping. CONSTITUTION:Material to be formed by stamping consists of the combination of glass fiber and polyethylene terephthalate or polypropylene resin, the combination of polyvinyl alcohol fiber and polypropylene resin or the like. As the thermoplastic resin concerned, polyurethane resin, polyvinyl chloride resin or silicone resin is used. The material to be formed by stamping 10, which is melted at a heating oven, is fed on the bottom force of a mold 6. Further, a surfacing material 7, which is produced by integrating non-porous thermoplastic resin sheet 8 and non-woven fabric 9, is set by holders 11 the top force of the mold 6. When the forces under the above-mentioned conditions are pressed each other, the molten resin in the material to be formed by stamping bites in the non-woven fabric layer, resulting in enhancing the adhesion by anchoring effect and, at the same time, air, which presents in the material and between interfaces, smoothly shifts through the non-woven fabric so as to be discharged outside the system.
