Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten adhesion between laminating sheets and consequently prevent ply separation from occurring by a method wherein one surface of a sheet is coated with solventless polyurethane-based adhesive so as to be fixed under heat and pressure to another sheet or film and, after that, to be aged as a whole under hot state. CONSTITUTION:One surface of an air permeable sheet or a finely porous thermoplastic resin film or sheet is coated with solventless polyurethane-based adhesive by the thickness of 0.5-1.5mum so as to be fixed under heat and pressure to another sheet or film and, after that, to be aged as whole under hot state. If the thickness of the adhesive is more than 1.5mum, the air permeability of the adhesive layer is lost. If that thickness is less than 0.5mum, enough adhesion is not realized. When the aging is done normally for 36-60 hours at 35-40 deg.C after the fixing of the sheet under heat and pressure, the adhesive fully solidifies, resulting in preventing ply separation from occurring.
