Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable removing a small diameter vessel without degassing by providing an insulating spacer with an embedded hardware having a counterbored hole and with a through-hole to connect said small diameter vessel with a large diameter vessel. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of embedded hardwares 13b having a counterbored hole 13a are arranged in the surface of an insulating spacer 13, which the outer flange 11a of a small diameter vessel 11 contacts. Also, the insulating spacer 13 is provided with a plurality of through-holes 13c alternating with the embedded hardware 13b. An embedded bolt 16a connecting the insulating spacer 13 and an inner flange 12a and a bolt 16b connecting the insulating spacer 13 and inner flange 12a are inserted into the counterbored hole 13a and the through-hole 13c, respectively. The head of the embedded bolt 16a is buried in the counterbored hole 13a. Therefore, even if the bolt 16b fastening the small diameter vessel is loosened, a gas leak from the large diameter vessel 12 sealed by the insulating spacer 13 does not occur and it is unnecessary to degas the large diameter vessel 12 at the time of removing the small diameter vessel 11.
