Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an arrangement for electrically shielding the opening of an electric connector housing which can easily terminate a plurality of shielding wires and can easily disassemble the wires when required by providing a plurality of specific conductive hollow elements, a specific shielding member, and a specific holding member. CONSTITUTION: An electric shielding arrangement is provided with a plurality of conductive hollow elements 6 which can accept one or more wires so that the wires can be passed through the element 6 and extended beyond the element 6 and can be electrically connected to the shields of the wires passed through the elements 6 and a conductive shield member 4 which can be positioned to the opening of a housing so that the member 4 can close the opening and has a plurality of openings and/or slots 8 in which the elements 6 can be detachably positioned so that the wires can be extended through the member 4, and a holding member 5 which cooperates with the member 4 and/or elements 6 to fix the elements 6 to prescribed positions on the member 4 and can release one or more of the elements 6 so that the elements 6 can be removed from the member 4.
