Abstract

PURPOSE:To create a comfortable environment over the entire room space detecting the temperature over the entire room space using an omnidirectional temperature sensor having a light collecting means, and controlling an air conditioner or a sunlight regulating device etc., from the PMV value computed from the detected temperature. CONSTITUTION:An omnidirectional temperature sensor 5 comprises, for example, a Fresnel lens 51, a pyroelectrical infrared ray sensor 52 disposed on the lens axis, a chopper 53 disposed in between which admits or interrupts the entering infrared rays and a sensor 54 to detect the operation of the chopper 53. From these sensor outputs, a micro computer 10 computes the PMV value which is an index of degree of comfortableness, and, by controlling a hot water space heater 1 or air conditioner 2, and an elevating means for blinds 4a, 4c from the PMV value, a comfortable environment can be created over the entire room space.
