Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as an antimicrobial agent at low cost, by deprotecting a specific compound in an inert solvent in the presence of a nickel complex and a reaction auxiliary. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by formula I [R1 is H or OH-protecting group; R2 is (substituted)2-alkenyl; X is S or group shown by formula II (R3 is H or alkyl); Y is H or group shown by formula III (R4 and R5 are H, alkyl or R4 and R5 are bonded to form ethylene or propylene chain; n is 0-4)] is deprotected in an inert solvent (e.g. diethyl ether or benzene) in the presence of a nickel complex and a reaction auxiliary preferably at 10-50 deg.C to give the aimed compound shown by formula IV (R1' is H or OH-protecting group).
