The present invention relates to an animal pest control brush. Conventionally, dogs, cats, monkeys, squirrels, rabbits, hamsters, pets and other animals with body hair (cows, horses,
Methods for exterminating pests such as fleas and ticks that live and parasitize in the body hair of chickens, etc. include wearing animal insecticide collars, spraying animal insecticide powder, and washing the hair with animal insecticide-containing shampoo. etc. are known. However, insecticidal collars for animals are often only effective in a small area due to the extremely local nature of the collars, and are disadvantageous in being effective on the entire body surface, and they are used because they are worn for long periods of time. Depending on the type of insecticide, there is a risk of causing dermatitis etc. in animals. When using insecticidal powder for animals, when spraying it on the animal's body, there is a risk that the owner's hands and fingers may get dirty or that the powder may be inhaled when breathing, which is unfavorable from a sanitary standpoint. Alternatively, there are drawbacks such as staining surrounding floors etc. when spraying. In addition, in the case of washing hair with shampoo, the drug is removed because the hair is washed with water after shampooing, so the medicinal efficacy cannot be maintained, and there are many disadvantages such as drying of body hair, etc. In addition, a structure has been proposed in which a chemical stored in the hollow part of the brush stand is applied to the animal's body hair through the hollow part of the brush bristles (for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 33003/1973). Not only does this require the troublesome operation of pressing and deforming the brush stand when applying the chemical, but the chemical outlet at the tip of the brush bristles tends to become clogged due to adhesion of loose hair, dust, etc. There were problems such as performance deterioration or disappearance. The present invention has been made with the aim of eliminating the above-mentioned drawbacks of the conventional methods. Specifically, the present invention provides a brush for brushing animal hair, in which a pest control agent can be retained on the brush mounting surface of the brush stand. The present invention relates to an animal pest control brush characterized in that a holder is provided at at least one location, and the height of the holder is set within a range of ±10 mm of the height of the brush portion. Since the present invention has the above structure,
Brushing effect and pest control can be done in one operation, which saves time and effort; No additional operations are required during brushing, making it easy to use; Chemical application performance can be maintained stably and reliably for a long period of time. Compared to known collars, the effect spreads over the whole body,
The brush can be used to exert a powerful effect, and when using the brush, the chemical does not stick to people's fingers, etc., making it clean. The types of insect control agents that can be used are extremely wide, especially thermal decomposition, photolysis, etc. It has many features such as being able to effectively utilize drugs that may be subject to decomposition. In the present invention, the holding body is made of plastic such as polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride,
Examples include foamed rubber such as polyurethane and polyethylene, wood, and metal. In addition, as a drug composition absorption base material, natural fibers such as wool, silk, cotton, hemp, cellulose, etc., synthetic fibers such as polypropylene, nylon, polyester, polyethylene, Tetoron, human silk, sufu, etc., or non-woven fabrics made of a mixture of these, Mihara. Fabrics having compositions such as texture, double weave, multilayer weave, special weave, pile weave, twill weave, etc., felt, long fiber flocking, etc. may be attached to the above-mentioned material. In the case of holding a liquid drug at room temperature, homogeneous absorbent holding bodies such as polyvinyl chloride, polyurethane, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene foams, wood, foamed rubber, etc. can be used. In the present invention, to provide these on the brush stand, conventional methods can be applied, such as adhering them with a conventional adhesive or using a removable shape. In this case, the most important thing is the height of the holder after being impregnated with the pest control agent relative to the length of the brush bristles. If the brush height is too high, not only will the brushing effect be weakened, but the drug will transfer too much and the effective period of the brush will be significantly shortened. If it is too low, the brushing effect will be fine, but the transfer of the drug will be too small and the brush will become effective. Considering these factors, the optimum height of the pest control agent-impregnated holder is -10 to +10 mm of the length of the brush bristles (height of the brush portion). In the present invention, the material of the brush stand that fixes the holder can be any commonly used material, such as wood, plastic, metal, etc., and the brush part can be either sponge-like or hair-like. As the brush bristles, animal hairs such as those of pigs and raccoon dogs, plant hairs such as cocoon, synthetic resin hairs such as nylon, polypropylene, acrylic resin, and metal wires can be used. In addition, the drugs used in this invention include:
Conventionally known products can be used in a wide range of ways, but examples include pyrethroid, organophosphorus, and carbamate insecticides and acaricides, and repellents such as diethyltoluamide, dibutyl phthalate, and di-n-butyl succinate. can be mentioned. Furthermore, it can be mixed with chemicals to adjust the effect (control abrasion),
Wax-like or liquid substances at room temperature can be used to increase the immobilization and stability of drugs. Examples of wax-like substances include natural waxes, petroleum-based waxes, polyethylene waxes, and synthetic waxes such as monoglycerides. Wax-like substances at room temperature such as wax-like alcohols and wax-like acids, esters such as isopropyl myristate and dioctyl phthalate with a boiling point of 150℃ or higher, fatty acids, hydrocarbons, ethers, alcohols,
Liquid substances such as aldehydes and ketones are shown. Examples 1 to 7 As shown in Table 1, the holder with the absorbent base material pasted or the holder alone was placed in the center of a brush support base (10 x 6 x 2 cm) using a hair-like brush around the periphery. Installation. At this time, the height of the holder and the length of the brush were varied. Next, a drug is applied to the absorbent base layer.
Melt the composition mixed with additives and give 5 to 15 g/100
A pest control brush for animals of the present invention was obtained which was impregnated at a ratio of cm 2 .

It showed remarkable efficacy compared to blank. In addition, when the height of the holder is 1.3 cm higher than the length of the brush (Example 1)
Since the brushing effect could not be obtained, it was not possible to uniformly apply the drug to the dog's body surface using the holder, and the desired effect could not be obtained. Further, when the height of the holder was 1.2 cm lower than the length of the brush (Example 4), the chemical treatment itself could not be carried out sufficiently and the desired effect could not be obtained. A detailed explanation will be given below based on one example of implementing the present invention. FIGS. 1A and 1B are a plan view and a sectional view taken along the line A-A′ of an embodiment of the present invention, in which a holder 2 is formed in the center of the brush stand 5, and the holder 2 The hair transplant 1 is formed to be longer than the height of the hair. Note that the drug composition is wax-like at room temperature as the base material 2a.
The case is shown in which it is held on the holder 2 and attached to the upper surface of the holder 2. In use, the pest control effect of the present invention can be achieved simply by grasping the brush stand 5 and using it to brush the animal's body hair in the same way as a normal brush. FIGS. 2A to 2B are a plan view and a sectional view taken along the line B-B′ showing an example of the implementation of the present invention, and the points where a plurality of holders 2 are scattered and the height of the holders 2 are It is substantially the same as that in FIG. 1 except that it is taller than the length of the hair transplant 1. 3A and 3B are a plan view and a cross-sectional view taken along the line C-C′ showing still another example of the implementation of the present invention, in which the holder 2 is provided in a ring shape around the periphery of the brush stand 5,
This is substantially the same as that shown in FIG. 1, except that the absorbent substrate 2b holds a drug composition that is liquid at room temperature. Although the holder 2 is provided in a ring shape, it does not matter whether it is provided continuously or intermittently. FIG. 4 is a plan view and a sectional view taken along the line D-D′ showing still another example of implementing the present invention, in which the holding body 2 also serves as the liquid absorbing base material 2b, and the height of the holding body 2 is set to 1. It is substantially the same as that of FIG. 1 except that it is higher than the length of .
