Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the change of an access control method by an opposite station, by providing an inter-system communication means which supplies respective second node addresses to a 0th system device and a 1st system device in a duplicated device having a switching function of current in use/spare, and utilizes it. CONSTITUTION:The 0th system device 100 is provided with an interanother device communication node address '02' and an inter-system communication address '20', and the 1st system device 101 is also provided with the '02' and a '21' A system current in use performs communication with another device by a LAN adaptor 110 (or 111) by using the '02'. The communication between the system current in use and a spare system is performed via inter-system communication parts 170 and 171 in respective device by using the node addresses '20' and '21'. The spare system monitors the normality of the system current in use by issuing an instruction to perform monitoring by using the node addresses '20' and '21'. When the spare system recognizes the fault of the system current in use and instructs switching, the system current in use receives it and performs the switching. The spare system is used as the system current in use when no switching response is received, and performs the communication by using the inter-another device communication node addresses '20' and '21'. By constituting a device in such way, it is not required to be conscious of recognizing whether an opponent is the system current in use or the spare system.
