Abstract

PURPOSE: To attain compatibility of heat radiatability with moistureproofness by providing the front surface part of a heat radiation casing with through-holes and continuous holes, connecting light shielding elements and circuit patterns via these through-holes and covering the rear surface part of the casing with a resin material as well through these hole. CONSTITUTION: The front surface part 11 of the heat radiation casing 10 is provided with the through-holes and the continuous holes. LED chips 21 on the surface side of front surface part 11 of the heat radiation easing 10 and a display substrate on the rear surface side are connected by junction terminals 25. The rear surface part of the front surface part 11 is covered with the resin material 30 as well through the through-holes and continuous holes. The good electric display attaining the compatibility of heat radiatability with the moistureproofness is obtd.
