Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can give a molding having any desired shape, excelling in properties and suited as, e.g., a reinforcing support for an optical fiber cable in excellent moldability and shapability, by using a thermotropic liquid crystal polymer as a base. CONSTITUTION:A thermotropic liquid crystal polymer as a base, such as a wholly aromatic polyester, an aromatic-aliphatic polyester, a wholly aromatic polyester-amide, an aromatic-aliphatic polyester-amide, an aromatic polyazomethine, an aromatic polyester carbonate, a polyacrylate or a polymethacrylate is mixed with, optionally, an antioxidant, an age resister, an ultraviolet absorber, a tackifier, a filler, a thermoplastic resin, a thermoplastic elastomer, etc.
