Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a uniform quality superconductor layer by forming superconductor layer at the bore of a hollow base, inserting a core and rolling for turning of it into a wire, and then subjecting it to heat treatment for stabilization of the superconductor layer. CONSTITUTION:A superconductor layer 2 is provided at the bore of a hollow base 1, and a core 8 is inserted therein. This base 1 is rolled to provide a wire, which is heat treated to stabilize the superconductor layer. Insertion of core 8 and rolling does not permit enlargement of the pulldown ratio at the time of dia. contraction due to rolling, that enables sufficient processing in a proper range, and also troubles such as discontinuity at manufacture can be prevented. Because the superconductor layer 2 is pressurized from outside and inside by the core simultaneously, the whole is contracted approx. evenly to yield uniform quality, that should accomplish stable superconductive characteristics.
