PURPOSE:To permit the use of a variety of proper materials for a basic body by inserting the basic body having elasticity between a pneumatic tire and a rim and forming a hole gap part opened on the surface of the basic body, thus improving the heat radiation effect of the basic body and lowering rigidity. CONSTITUTION:A tire core 1 prevents the reduction of the internal pressure of a pneumatic tire 2 when the air in the pneumatic tire 2 is lost and permits the temporary continuation of rolling of the pneumatic tire 2. In this case, the tire core 1 has an elastic basic body 4 which is inserted between the pneumatic tire 2 and a rim 3 and consists of an annular body continuous in the tire peripheral direction. Further, on the both side surfaces of the basic body 4, each bottomed hole gap part 5 which extends in the tire axis direction and is continuous in the tire peripheral direction is formed. The heat radiation effect of the tire can be improved by increasing the surface area of the basic body 4 by the hole gap part 5, and rigidity is lowered. Therefore, even for the traveling for a long time or at high speed, a material having a low melting point or high rigidity can be used.
