Normally, when a tape recorder is used for a long period of time, the magnetic field generated tends to magnetize various parts including the magnetic head, capstan, etc., and the recording and playback characteristics tend to deteriorate. Therefore, it is necessary to demagnetize the tape recorder at regular intervals. be. Conventionally, in order to facilitate the degaussing of the magnetic head in a cassette type tape recorder, a degaussing signal generating circuit 2 was built into a case 1 of the same standard as a Phillips-type compact cassette, as shown in FIG. A demagnetizer 6 has been proposed in which a degaussing head 4 is slidably disposed corresponding to the insertion window 3, and a switch 5 is provided at the rear end of the degaussing head 4 to turn on and off in conjunction with the movement of the head 4. There is. The degaussing device 6 can be used in a normal tape playback operation, that is, by simply pressing the playback button after properly setting the case 1 in the tape recorder, the degaussing head 4 is pushed back by the magnetic head, and the switch 5 is turned on. The degaussing circuit 2 is activated to automatically demagnetize the magnetic head, and the degaussing operation does not require any skill.
The magnetic head can be reliably demagnetized. On the other hand, this type of demagnetizer 6 lacks versatility and has many disadvantages, such as being unable to be used for anything other than a recording/reproducing apparatus using a compact cassette, and being unable to demagnetize anything other than magnetic heads.

In the above-mentioned cassette tape type demagnetizer, the demagnetizing head part is configured to be detachable from the main body case, so that the type of tape recorder to which it is applied is not limited, and each part other than the magnetic head can be removed. The purpose is to provide a demagnetizer that can also be used for demagnetization.

The demagnetizer 7 according to the present invention is shown in FIGS.
As shown in the figure, a degaussing signal generating circuit 2 that generates an attenuated alternating voltage is housed in a main body case 8 that has the same specifications as a Philips-type compact cassette, and a battery 9 such as a button-type mercury battery that supplies power to the circuit 2.
A degaussing head section 10 is provided for exchanging the electric signal generated by the degaussing signal generating circuit 2 into a magnetic field.

As shown in the block diagram of FIG. 3, the degaussing signal generating circuit 2 boosts the voltage V 1 of the battery 9 with the DC-DC converter 14 and then applies this output voltage V 2 to the switching circuit 15. The switching circuit is designed so that the input voltage V 2 is a set voltage V′ 2 of about 16V, for example.
This is a transistor switch that is preset to turn on when the switching circuit 15 turns on.
Transcribe V′ 2 . At the same time, a signal is sent from the input side of the switching circuit 15 to the control circuit 17 through the light emitting diode 18, thereby opening the switching circuit 15 and completely separating the DC-DC converter 14 and the capacitor 16.
The output voltage V 2 of the DC-DC converter 14 is lowered to a voltage sufficiently low to cause the light emitting diode 18 to emit light and indicate that the battery 9 is normal. At both ends of the capacitor 16, there is also a self-excited oscillation circuit 19 that generates an alternating voltage having a peak value approximately proportional to the input voltage value, like an astable multi-vibrator.
is connected. The oscillation circuit 19 starts oscillating at the same time as the voltage V' 2 is transferred from the DC-DC converter 14 to the capacitor 16, but at this moment, the replenishment of current to the capacitor 16 is cut off, so the capacitor 16 continues to discharge and the terminal drop the voltage between
Therefore, from the oscillation circuit 19, a damped alternating voltage V3 whose peak value drops at a certain time constant is obtained. Such voltage V 3 is applied to the demagnetizing head 21 of the demagnetizing head section 10 and is exchanged with a damped alternating magnetic field.

The degaussing head section 10 has a limit switch 25 fixed in the innermost part of the head case 22 whose front surface is open, with the pressing piece 23 facing the opening 24 side.
A demagnetizing head 21 is slidably disposed near the opening 24. The degaussing head 21 has a substantially U-shaped sintered ferrite core or a leg portion 27 of a laminated iron core 26.
A coil bobbin 29 on which the coil 28 is wound is fitted into the coil bobbin 29, and the tip thereof is covered with a protective piece 30 made of a soft synthetic resin material. By abutting the protection piece 30 to expose it from the head case opening 24 and placing the back surface 32 in contact with the pressing piece 23 of the limit switch 25, the degaussing head 21 is normally attached to the opening 24 side by the spring pressure of the limit switch 25. the degaussing head 2 at the same time as pressing the protective piece 30.

On the other hand, a head insertion chamber 3 into which the head case 22 of the degaussing head section 10 is fitted corresponds to the position where the conventional magnetic head insertion window is formed in the main body case 8.
4, the entire degaussing head 10 can be inserted and removed from the main body case 8, and the degaussing head 21 and limit switch 2 can be inserted and removed.
5 is connected to the degaussing signal generation circuit 2 by a sufficiently long connection line 20.

Therefore, when degaussing various parts of a tape recorder, for example, the capstan 35, using the demagnetizer 7 according to the present invention, the degaussing head 10 is taken out from the main body case 8 and as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5a.
When the protective piece 30 at the tip of the degaussing head 21 is pressed against the capstan 35, the degaussing head 21 retreats as shown in FIG. Then, the battery 9 is connected to the degaussing circuit 2, and an alternating voltage V3 is applied from the degaussing circuit 2 to the degaussing head 21, and this voltage V3 is converted by the degaussing head 21 into an attenuated alternating magnetic field necessary for demagnetizing the capstan 35. demagnetization is completed.

FIG. 6 shows another embodiment of the present invention, in which a notch 36 is provided through the upper and lower cases 8a, 8b of the main body case 8, and guide grooves 37, 37 are formed on both opposing inner surfaces of the notch 36. 22
Guide protrusions 38, 38 that fit into guide grooves 37, 37 are formed on both outer surfaces of. In this example,
When mounting and removing the demagnetizing head section 10, the upper and lower surfaces 39, 40 of the head case 22 can be held between the fingertips, so that the demagnetizing operation can be completed easily and reliably without damaging the demagnetizing head 21.

As described above, the present invention includes a cassette-type main body case 8.
a degaussing signal generation circuit 2 that generates an alternating voltage within;
In a demagnetizer equipped with a power source 9 that supplies power to the signal generating circuit 2, a demagnetizing head section 10 for exchanging the alternating voltage to an alternating magnetic field is detachably installed at the magnetic head insertion position of the main body case 8, Since the degaussing head section 10 and the degaussing signal generating circuit 2 are connected by the connecting wire 20, the magnetic head of a frequently used cassette type tape deck can be demagnetized without leaving the degaussing head section 10 attached to the main body case 8. To demagnetize anything other than an open type cassette deck or magnetic head by performing a similar playback operation, simply remove the degaussing head section 10 from the main body case and press the protective piece 30 at the tip to complete the demagnetization process, and there are no restrictions on the models to which it can be applied. It has the advantage of not being
