Abstract
PURPOSE:To store power in small space for a long period of time by a method wherein a power storage part is formed on the inner surface of a sheet glass material, and a conductive terminal for input and output is exposedly formed. CONSTITUTION:A power storage part 2, consisting of a superconducting substance, is formed inside a transparent sheet glass material 1. The superconducting substance is formed in a loop-like shape using a linear material having the characteristic that shows a superconducting state at the normal temperature, and conductive terminals 3 and 3 are formed in a manner that they are exposed over the outer surface of the plate material 1 from positions between which the prescribed side 2a of loop-like shape exists. The voltage of a power source 4 is applied between each terminal 3 thorough the intermediary of conducting wires 5 and 5, and also the prescribed side 2a is heated up to the transition temperature or above of the superconducting substance by projecting the ray of light sent from an infrared ray laser generator 6, and the heating is stopped.
