A button-type battery 1 such as a silver oxide battery or a mercury battery as shown in FIG. 1 is extremely small, so a partially cutaway perspective view is usually shown in FIG. 2, and a perspective view is shown in FIG. 3. As shown in cross section, the packaging is in a so-called blister pack. This blister pack consists of a plurality of battery accommodating protrusions 3 each having recesses 2 formed therein, made of, for example, transparent plastic.
Cover sheets 4 are arranged at required intervals, for example, in a line as shown in the figure, or in a plurality of lines (not shown). to block the

In this way, the button battery 1 is usually placed in a blister-packed package 6 at a store, for example.
At the time of sale, this package 6 is sold as is, or the package 6 is cut between required protrusions 3 depending on the number of units sold. On the other hand, in this case, it is desired to check whether the button battery 1 has a predetermined voltage.

Conventionally, the voltage of this type of button battery 1 has been checked by taking the battery 1 out of the package 6 and measuring its voltage, or by installing a battery in the battery housing 3 with the battery 1 housed in the package 6. The measuring terminals of the voltage measuring meter are brought into contact with the positive (+) pole 1a and the negative (-) pole 1b on both sides of the battery 1 through the through holes 7 and 8 made in the cover sheet 4 and the back sheet 5. A method is adopted in which the battery voltage is measured. However, it is extremely troublesome to take out the battery 1 from the package 6 one by one and insert the measurement terminals into the through holes 7 and 8 to measure the voltage.

A groove 13 is provided across the left side surfaces 10a and 10b for inserting the battery package 6 made of a blister pack described in FIGS. 2 and 3. This groove 13
A pair of mutually opposing contacts 14a and 14b are disposed on opposing inner surfaces of. These contacts 14a
and 14b are electrically connected to the positive and negative measurement terminals of the measurement circuit section 11, respectively. One contact 14b
is arranged, for example, as a fixed terminal projecting into the groove 13, and the other contact 14a is arranged so as to be freely movable toward the contact 14b. For example, a recess 15 communicating with the groove 13 is provided in a part of the top plate of the housing 10 at a position facing the contact 14a, and the contact 14 is placed in the recess 15.
A sliding piece 16 is provided which is guided to move forward and backward in the direction a, and a contact 14a is disposed on this sliding piece 16 opposite to the contact 14b. As shown in FIG. 7, a spring 18 is interposed between the sliding piece 16 and the fixed part 17 of the case 10, so that the sliding piece 16 and therefore the contact 14a are connected to the contact 14.
An elastic biasing force toward the b side is applied. For example, this sliding piece 16 is configured such that its front end 16a abuts against the fixed part 17, and the tip of the contact 14a is normally opposite to the inner surface of the groove 13 on the side where the fixed contact 14b is provided. It is arranged so that it is approximately flush with the inner surface of the side.

Further, other parts of the case 10, such as the side surface 10b, are provided with a part for checking the voltage of the unwrapped button battery 1 as a single unit. In this part, for example, a recess 21 is provided in a part of the side surface 10b, and a fixed contact 22 connected to one positive electrode side measurement terminal of the measurement circuit section is arranged on the lower surface of the recess 21, and a fixed contact 22 is provided inside the recess 21 facing toward the contact 22a. Sliding piece 23 guided to move forward and backward
will be provided. A contact 22a is provided on the bottom surface of the sliding piece 23.
A contact point 22b is provided opposite to the contact point 22b, which is connected to the other measuring terminal of the measuring circuit section 11, for example, the negative electrode side. As shown in FIG. 9, a spring 24 is interposed between the sliding piece 23 and the fixed part 25, and an elastic biasing force is always applied in a direction away from the contact point 22b.

According to the above-described checker 9 according to the present invention, it is possible to check the voltage of each battery 1 while the battery 1 is housed in the package 6. That is, the packaging body 6 is placed in the groove 17, and the arrangement direction of the battery housing protrusions 3 is placed in the groove 1.
The battery accommodating protrusion 3 containing the battery 1 to be inserted along the extension direction of the battery 7 and subjected to a voltage check is brought between the pair of contacts 14a and 14b.
In this case, the positive (+) pole 1a of battery 1 is the contact 1
The package 6 is inserted into the groove 13 so that the negative (-) pole 1b faces the contact 14b side. The sliding piece 16 is pushed out into the groove 13 in the direction shown by the arrow a in FIG. Contact through 8. In this way, the voltage of the battery 1 is measured, and it is possible to judge whether the battery 1 is good or bad, for example, based on the display on the display section 12 such as a meter. Note that this measurement is performed by sliding the package 6 along the extending direction of the groove 13 and sequentially attaching different batteries 1 to the contacts 14a and 14.
This can be done by repeating the above-mentioned operations with

In addition, in reality, the positive (+) terminal 1a of the battery 1 in the recess 2 in the package 6 may be arranged on the sheet 5 side, or on the protrusion 3 side, so , each pole 1a and 1b is connected to a contact 14, respectively.
When inserting the package 6 into the groove 13 so as to face the battery accommodating projections 3, the side edge 6b of the package 6, which has a wide gap 6c between it and the battery accommodating protrusion 3, is placed on the lower side of the groove 13. It becomes necessary to adopt two modes: inserting it so that it is facing upwards, and inserting it so that it is facing upwards.
However, according to the above-described structure of the present invention, the groove 20 is provided in the groove 13 so as to be biased toward one side, and the step portion 19 is formed toward the other side, so that the depth of the groove 20 and the depth of the step portion 19 are different. , grooves 13 of both contacts 14a and 14b

When applying the battery housing protrusion 3 below the groove 13, by lowering the side edge 6b of the package 6 into the groove 20, the through hole 7 of the battery accommodating protrusion 3 and 8 to face each other and the side edge 6b is directed upward, the through holes 7 and 8 of the protrusion 3 are formed by placing the other side edge 6a on the stepped portion 19. As described above, according to the configuration of the present invention, it is possible to check the battery in the packaging state, regardless of the front and back relationship of the battery 1 in the packaging body. The voltage can be checked with a simple operation in the packaged state, and the benefits of putting it into practical use are great.
