CONSTITUTION:An amorphous material is coated on the slide surface of a skirt part 12 of a piston 11 to form an amorphous layer 15. A cylinder liner 14 is formed by a ceramic material. This constitution achieves low friction, and enables prevention of the occurrence of seizure under a slide transient state.
