Abstract
PURPOSE:To move smoothly the content of a volume decreasing kiln, by preparing a screw rotating blade inside of the volume decreasing kiln which decreases the volume of waste plastics by heating, giving an upward force to the content with this blade when decreasing the volume and a downward force when discharging the content. CONSTITUTION:Waste plastics 1 is continuously fed from a feed opening 2 at the top of a volume decreasing kiln 3 by means of a charging conveyor. The waste plastics moves downwards in order while its volume is decreased by hot air. In such a manner, the volume-decreased plastics descends in turn to a discharge part 7 prepared at the bottom of the funnel part in the lower portion of the kiln, and then it is intermittently discharged from a discharge gate 8. Therefore, the content of the kiln is forced to move by pushing up the waste plastics with the normal rotation of a screw rotating blade 9 positioned in the center of the kiln and pushing down the waste plastics with the reverse rotation when discharging the content.
