Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an exclusive line connecting between base station equipments, by detecting respectively the reception electric field strength of a radio line of each base station at a mobile telephone set terminal and connecting the mobile terminal equipment to an exchange network through the base station representing the strongest reception electric field strength. CONSTITUTION:A controller 15 detects a reception electric field strength of the 1st base station equipment 1 based on a 1st monitor signal and detects the reception electric field strength as to a 2nd base station equipment based on a 2nd monitoring signal. Then the controller 15 compared each reception electric field as to the 1st and 2nd base station equipments 1, 2 to decide which reception electric field strength is higher. When the controller 15, based on the 1st and 2nd monitoring signal, decides that the strength of the 2nd base station equipment 2 is higher than that of the 1st base station equipment 1, a communication consecutive signal representing the calling continuity through the 2nd base station equipment 2 is fed to a transmitter-receiver 13, the signal is modulated and transmitted from the antenna 14. Thus, an exclusive line connecting the base station equipments is not required.
