Abstract

CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic sensor which is mounted on a magnetic encoder used by directly couping it to a brushless motor in which a plurality of magnetoresistance effect elements (MR elements) are disposed on a single carrier, the plurality of MR elements are divided into a plurality of groups, and current supply terminals of the MR elements of the respective groups are individually provided. The current supply terminals of the MR elements 5-1 and 5-2 are provided together to the terminal 5-6 through connecting conductors, and a backup power source is connected to the terminal 5-6.
