Abstract
PURPOSE:To automatize the matching adjustment of the probe impedance, and to shorten the time required for the adjustment, by setting the impedance of an impedance matching box, while applying a high frequency signal brought to frequency sweeping from a high frequency oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The probe of a magnetic resonance device is provided with a high frequency coil 21 for generating and receiving a high frequency magnetic field, and an impedance matching box 22. In this state, under the control of a sequence controller 2, first of all, while applying a high frequency signal brought to frequency sweeping from a high frequency oscillator 30, to the impedance matching box 22 containing a variable capacitor for resonance and a variable capacitor for an impedance matching, the capacity of the impedance matching variable capacitor is set so that an output of a reflected wave from the probe becomes below a prescribed value by some frequency. Subsequently, the capacity of the variable capacitor for resonance is set so that the output of the reflected wave from the probe becomes the prescribed value by some resonance frequency.
