Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the reading of the measured value of a meter and to prevent misreading by transmitting a measured value request signal by radio from a radio meter-reader and receiving the measured value from the meter by radio. CONSTITUTION:When a push-button switch for starting meter-reading 2 in the radio meter-reader 1 is depressed, the measured value requesting signal is transmitted from a transmission part 3 by ratio. When a reception part 5 in the meter 4 receives the measured value requesting signal, the measured value of a measured value storage part 7 storing a value which a measuring part 6 has measured is transmitted to the radio meter-reader 1 by radio through a meter number and a transmission part 8. The radio meter-reader 1 receives the measured value and the meter number in a reception part 9, displays them in a data display part 10, and stores them in a data storage part 11. A rate with respect to the measured value is calculated in a rate calculation part 12 and transmitted to the data display part 10 and the data storage part 11. Data stored in the data storage part 11 is outputted from a printer output part 14, and transferred to a center device through a data transfer part 15.
