Abstract

PURPOSE: To handle various kinds of parts without any increase in costs for a part feeder by arranging an image processing device for recognizing a part fed from a stocker to a receiving table by means of a finger. CONSTITUTION: A part 1 inside a part stocker 2 is fed to a part receiving table 3 by means of a finger 4. Then, an image of the part 1 on the receiving table 3 is photographed by means of a camera 5 mounted in the receiving table 3 lower part so as to be inputted into an image processing device 6. By means of the image processing device 6, the front side or the back side, an overlap, a position of the part 1 are recognized, and if there is a chuckable part, position information on the part is outputted to a robot 7, and subsequently, the part is chucked by means of a chuck 8 at the tip of a robot arm. If there is no chuckable part, the part receiving table 3 is oscillated by means of a collection cylinder 9 so as to return the part into the part stocker 2.
