PURPOSE: To effectively use light by reducing a rate of reflected light by each reflecting mirror interrupted by a shading body, by interrupting only minimum reflecting light by the reflecting mirror required to form a contrast boundary line. CONSTITUTION: A reflecting mirror 21 has a reflecting surface 31 forming the almost same shape as the lower half of a rotating ellipsoid and a reflecting mirror 22 has a reflecting surface 32 forming the almost same shape as its upper half. These reflecting mirrors 21 , 22 are integrally jointed up and down, and have a common optical axis X-X. The reflecting mirrors 31 , 32 have a common first focus f0 , and a second focus located at a different position for each. A shading body 6 is so placed that its shading rim 7 almost abuts on the optical axis X-X from below at an almost intermediate position between the second focuses f1 and f2 of the reflecting mirrors 31 , 32 . The vicinity of a lower rim part of light 51 and 52 converging to the second focuses f1 , f2 of the reflecting surfaces 31 , 32 is interrupted by the shading body 6. In this way, a gathering of the light 81 , 82 by each reflecting mirror 21 , 22 forms a semicircular shape, and only a little part of the light closer to a straight line rim side is interrupted by the shading body 6, therefore, usage efficiency of light is excellent.
