Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a structure possible to assemble or connect to continuous or semi-continuous processing equipment by feeding a tray between upper and lower capping tools through a conveyor mechanism and carrying out capped containers through the conveyor mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A tray 26 loading a semi-capped container 25 is fed into a capping chamber 10 by conveyor mechanisms 14, 13 and supported by a main conveyor mechanism 13, then a gate 11 is closed. A tray 26 is lifted up and supported at the top end 21 of a lower capping tool 18. With an upper capping tool 22 pushed down, a cap 27 on each container 25 is perfectly sealed. The upper capping tool 22 and the lower capping tool 18 are moved upward and downward respectively, and the tray 26 is supported by the mechanism 13 again, a gate 12 is opened, and the tray is discharged from capping chamber 10. The inside of the capping chamber 10 is made into a specified atmosphere by a vacuum pump or a special gas source.
