Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent contents of a container from spilling over on unsealing a lid thereof by sealing an opening of the container body by the lid, under the condition of deforming in wardly the shell of the container body with a restoring force. CONSTITUTION:A container body 12 filled with contents 25 thereof is deformed inwardly at the shell 16 thereof to lessen its volume, compared with the original one and sealed at the opening 12a of the container body 12 by thermal adhesion of a ring-like sealing portion 22a of a lid 22 to a ring-like sealing portion 18a at a brim 18. Namely the container body 12 is pressed into a recess 34 of a metal mold 32 by fixing pins 44a, 44b after filled with the contents 25. In such conditions, the container body 12 is deformed inwardly by a projection 36 inside the recess 34 at the shell 16 and decreased in volume compared with the original one. Then the opening 12a is enclosed by the lid 22 and the adhered portion 22b of the lid 22 is welded with the adhered portion 22a of a hold 20 by a heating member 54. Therefore, when the container body 12 is taken out from the recess 34 of the metal mold 32, it recovers the original form by the restoring force at the shell 16 and becomes a container 10 decompressed in its inside.
