Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a special display device for information display and to simplify the structure of an optical view finder by forming an optical path of a flexible photoconducting means formed by bundling many optical fibers and displaying using some of the optical fibers to display an element other than video. CONSTITUTION:A half-mirror 21 is arranged at the rear end part of a lens barrel 4, a reflecting mirror 22 is arranged above the half-mirror 21, and control lenses 23 and 24 are arranged between the half-mirror 21 and reflecting mirror 22, and reflecting mirror 22 and a photoconductor cable 11 respectively. Part of light from subject which is made incident through a photographic lens 3 is projected on an image pickup element 25 through the half-mirror 21 and the remainder is reflected upward by the half-mirror 21 to project on the reflecting mirror 22 through the control lens 23. The light is further reflected backward to impinge on the light incidence surfaces of an optical fiber 12 for framing and an optical fiber 13 for focusing through the control lens 24. Consequently, various kinds of information are displayed on the screen of the finder without providing any special display element.
