Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently apply sealing material by adequately disposing and connecting an operating body which comes into contact with the outside angle part from the outside face of panels to the base in the edge part thereof and a nozzle for sealing and coating which fits to the edge part from the inside face of the panels. CONSTITUTION:The sliding guide face 11 of the operating body 1 is fitted and pressed from the outside to the outside angle part 31 in the inwardly bending edge part 30 of the panels 28, 29. The nozzle 6 which is retreated is moved forward by the energizing force of the spring to fit and press the recessed part 12 of the nozzle to the edge part 30. The sealing material is supplied in this state to the nozzle 6 and the operating body 1 is moved along the edge part 30. The sealing material discharged continuously from slit-shaped discharge ports 13a-13c in a U shape into the recessed part 12 of the nozzle is then so applied as to enclose the edge part 30 while the material passes and moves in the recessed part 12 as the operating body moves.
